1. How do I book a stall?

To book a stall, please click the “Book Now” Button on our Facebook Page.  Fill in the details about you and your business.

2. How do I make the payment for the stall?

Once we have your form, we will send you the invoice to the email address provided. Please make the payment online.

3. How do I become a sponsor?

It’s really easy. We have 3 types of Sponsorship packages available, Gold Silver and Community Sponsor. Please email us at Shwetali@theindianbazaar.info for Sponsorship Proposal.

4. Who can be a sponsor?

Anyone can be a sponsor. If you are Real Estate Agent, Mortgage Broker, Immigration Agent, Restaurateur, Dentist, Hair stylist, Beautician, Trades person, Boutique owner, Grocery store owner, Cake stylist, Ayurvedic Doctor, etc. The Indian Bazaar could be a great platform to advertise your trades and services.

5. What will I get with a stall?

Majority of our venues are quite big and so we provide 3m x 3m stall space. If The Indian Bazaar is at a Community Centre then the stall space could be a little smaller. However, we assure you there’s always enough room for everyone to display all their products.

We also provide tables and chairs at most of our events unless specified.

A trestle table and a chair are usually provided at all our events.

6. Do you provide table covers?

Apologies, we do not provide table covers, however you can get one from Big W or Spotlight for $2.

7. Do I need to have banners or business cards?

Having a banner or business cards is not mandatory. However, it is recommended that if you running your business for more than 3 months then it would be a good idea to invest in it.

A lot of times, people who come to the event really like something but are in 2 minds about buying it and after going home they realize they really want it and they contact us. We usually forward the Facebook information about the business but to have a professional outlook a banner and business cards are best.  Customers can always contact you whenever they want to buy something from you.

8. Can I have a Food van or Food truck at The Indian Bazaar?

Of course, we always have food trucks or vans at all our events. To book a spot, you’ll need 3 things,

  • Fill the form via Book Now button on our Facebook Page
  • We would need a copy of your Streatrader permit
  • We would also need a copy of Statement of Trade

We take food handling very seriously so without a proper permit and license and we do not allow any food truck or van to sell food at our events.

9. Do I need Streatrader certificate and Statement of Trade if I just want to sell cupcakes or home made snacks?

Yes, with any kind of food, we’ll need a copy of your Streatrader permit and Statement of Trade.

10. How do I get Streatrader certificate?

Please visit https://streatrader.health.vic.gov.au for all the info.

11. How do I pick a spot for the stall?

All our stalls are allocated on first come first serve basis. If you have filled the form and made the payment then you are able to pick your spot accordingly.

12. Do you take a commission out of sales proceedings?

No, The Indian Bazaar does not take any commission from your sales. We provide you a platform and we charge you only for the stall and that’s it, we never take commission on the event’s sale from any stallholders.

13. Do I need to purchase Public Liability Insurance?

We recommend you to get your own Public Liability Insurance for the day of the event.
